CloudSmartIT, Inc. Merges with Warwick Data Solutions
I have some exciting news for you today. Warwick Data Solutions is merging with CloudSmartIT, Inc. We are in the final stages of merging the two companies before the year’s end. This is a very exciting time for me and my company as I continue to grow and provide my clients with outstanding IT support. What this means for you is basically nothing. Yes, that’s right, CloudSmartIT will continue to operate as is because we are absorbing Warwick Data Solutions. Our name, day-to-day operations, and processes will not be affected by the merger. In fact, we hope to now offer you faster and more convenient support.
There are two new faces that you may not be used to seeing. So, please welcome to the CloudSmartIT family, Warwick Burns.
Back at the end of the 1990’s I was working as a cell phone technician at Sprint PCS helping to fix as many phones as possible allowing people to continue on with their busy lives. I started dabbling in PC’s then starting to fill my father’s shoes of working with Honeywell mainframe computer systems. In 2000, I sold all I had and moved to Kiev, Ukraine to become a missionary and shortly after I found myself in Barnaul, Siberia (no, I didn’t do anything wrong!) There I met and married my lovely wife in 2002 and we started our new lives together in the coldest part of Russia. We wrapped up our mission in 2003, coming home to Nashville with my new and very pregnant wife! I worked for a little while with a high-end security company and another phone repair service all the while getting more and more involved in PC repair. That’s where it began and as God lead me into starting my own business!
Since the beginning of 2004 I’ve been putting my gift of working with people and fixing things to good use! I started Warwick Data Solutions with the mind that not only did I love dealing with people and fixing things, I also had a passion for bringing a friendly helping hand to folks in need! I’ve learned so much over the years from the time I was sitting at a small work desk neck-deep in fixing PC’s, now to working with much bigger fish!
Life has changed from working on PC’s while my curious little girl pulls all the stuffing out of the couch pillows behind my back to now, with a lovely 13yr old girl who’s just as tech savvy as I am and my 9yr old son who shows great promise in coding! I’m excited to say they both built their first PC at the age of 4! They, along with my fantastic wife, amaze me every day! We press on in life to bring the best out of all situations displaying the Love of our Father in Heaven as best we can! It’s a great journey and we never know what’s around the corner!

I was born in Memphis, TN., adopted at the age of 5 weeks and raised in Knoxville, TN for 10 years before my family moved back to Memphis. I attended White Station HS, graduated in 1974 and completed a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1979. I was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army in Air Defense, completed flight school, and branch transferred to Aviation. I was stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY, Ft. Rucker, AL, Camp Humphreys and Camp Yongsan in Korea, and Ft. Lewis, WA. I resigned my commission and was honorably discharged in 1991. I have actively been working in Information Technology in desktop, server, and network for over 30 years.
The main reason for the merger is quite simple: we wanted to stay competitive in the market. We are finding that as we try to win over new clients, they are requiring an IT company, not an “IT Guy,” to handle their technology needs. Plus, as some of you may know, it’s not fun running a company all by yourself. It is lonely at the water cooler, although now I must share the coffee pot. Thankfully, Warwick (mostly) drinks tea.
